Ever wondered what goes on behind the closed doors of a professional music rehearsal and production studio? Prepare to be amazed as we take you on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Soundstructure Studios, nestled in the heart of Kansas City. Welcome to Soundstructure:
As you enter through the parking lot you will notice that Soundstructure is very private and secure. All tenants and visitors most either have a digital key provided by management or be let in manually. The access control system monitors who is coming and going throughout the entire property 24/7. In addition, there are security cameras rolling day and night. These are just a few precautions to make sure all the tenants, guests, and musical equipment is kept safe and secure at all times. Once you enter through the oversized secure metal main entry door into the lobby you will notice there is ramp to your left, making the load in and out of your heavy gear a breeze. Or if you want, you can simply take the 5 or 6 steps directly to the main floor where all the studios are located. From here you can access the 18 studios, two vending machines providing an assortment of cold beverages and snacks, water fountain with bottle filler, or the two clean and easy to find restrooms.
Studio Spaces:
Follow us as we journey through the 18 state-of-the-art studio spaces, designed by an acoustical engineering firm located in Denver, CO. All studios have 9’ ceilings that are sloped to match the supporting walls that are tweaked so there are no right angles, creating the best sounding studio spaces in KC. The floors are carpeted, however, we leave the walls exposed so that our tenants can hang as much or as little acoustic tile as they want. Allowing them to customize the sound in their studio to meet their specific acoustic needs and desires (acoustic tile not provided). You will also notice that all the studios are different sizes so that we can offer a price range that meets everyone’s budget. The smallest studio is approximately 166 square feet and rents for $440.00/mo. and the largest studio is 294 square feet is $690.00/mo.
